Out Of Hours

Bank Holidays 8th May 2020 and 25th May

The Practice will be closed on Friday 8th May and Monday 25th May. Services  will be covered by Unity Primary Care between 8.00am and 8.00pm on both days.

 

You can pre-book appointments by contacting Bilston Family Practice. For on the day bookings when the Practice is closed telephone 01902 446688.

Accessing Services Outside Normal Working Hours

Our Practice works with a group of Wolverhampton GPs to provide extra GP and Nurse appointments outside our normal opening hours. These services are available at Pennfields Health Centre, Upper Zoar Street, WV3 0JH as follows:

 

Monday to Friday evenings 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Saturday 8.00am - 2.00pm
Sunday 9.00am - 2.00pm
Bank Holidays 9.00am - 1.00pm

Appointments can be booked by ringing the Practice during normal working hours or by ringing 01902 446688 during the above opening hours.

Out of Hours Services

If you need to see a doctor urgently when the surgery is closed please phone the surgery on 01902 405200 and follow the instructions provided. Unless you are ringing between 1.00pm and 6.30pm on Thursdays you will be advised the contact NHS 111. You will be assessed by a member of the NHS 111 team and directed to the most appropriate service to address your needs.

The Phoenix Centre is open between 10am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

The Walk In Centre, based at Parkfield Road, Wolverhampton, offers on-the-spot treatment (without an appointment) and advice for minor health problems, illness, ailments and injuries. You are able to 'walk in' during the centre's opening hours.
